Prepare orders quickly and painlessly
Athena simplifies the ordering process for teachers with a user-friendly setup, guiding them through information collection, shipping preferences, material selection, and order submission. By reusing profile information in dropdown menus, data entry is minimized allowing orders to be prepared painlessly and quickly while ensuring all required information is captured.

Teachers search based on real time inventory
Athena's teacher portal allows teachers to search real-time inventory positions and request specific copies when selecting materials for their order, helping set their expectations on what is available now and what needs to be produced. Teachers can search by a variety of parameters including ISBN, Title, and the specific format required for their students. If a matching book is not found, teachers are guided through a new book request, with an integration to Google books, to standardize the information on the book being requested.

Aid Production by uploading files and pacing guides
When a copy is unavailable, teachers can easily request the material's production through Athena's guided process. The process includes confirming the delivery of hard copy, specifying formatting properties such as contraction, spacing, and siding, and uploading relevant files. Teachers will also enter their pacing guide, requesting page and chapter-specific deadlines to help prioritize transcription or printing to keep the student on track.

Track status of current orders and view order history
Athena gives teachers a comprehensive history of their orders, allowing them to track current orders and review past orders by school year. Teachers can also search and filter the data by school and student name for easy access to the information they need, returning to previously saved orders before submitting.

Download Digital Material directly from Athena
Athena enables teachers requesting electronic materials to download them directly once their order has been approved. For schools or districts with embossers, this can speed up material delivery by distributing .brf files.

Track individual order item status and request amendments
Athena's teacher portal allows teachers to view and track the real-time status of their individual order items, and receive automated email notifications at key milestones throughout the order lifecycle. Teachers can also request amendments; cancel entire orders or specific order items, and renew certain materials as needed.

Track Material due back at the end of the school year
Athena's teacher portal allows teachers to track materials due back at the end of the school year, down to the volume level. The dynamic table will display a row if any of the volumes associated with that copy have not been returned and teachers can zoom in to see which specific volume is outstanding, encouraging close tracking and return of expensive accessible materials.
